The more Resistance you experience, the more important your unmanifested art/project/enterprise is to you – and the more gratification you will feel when you finally do it. – Steven Pressfield
The last War of Trading post looked at Pressfield’s argument that fear of trading is a good thing. In his next chapter, Pressfield explains that the presence of fear and Resistance signify that you love whatever project is scaring you.
I’ve talked at length about my fears regarding the QG Fund, the Baseball Fund, and my Amazon business. According to Pressfield, that fear signifies a true love for each of those projects.
And he’s right.
These projects drive me. They inspire me. This work is my escape from the rest of the world. It’s what I love to do….and I’m scared to death that it will never amount to anything.
From what I understand about love, fear, and Resistance, that means that the gratification will be that much better when success meets me at Galt’s Gulch.
